NCN - Certified Partners

All check verification transactions start at the point of sale. Various equipment options exist for obtaining the necessary information, communicating with the verification system, and displaying the response. Most merchants use the same terminal that already exists for credit card transactions. In order to use such terminals, the user must perform a partial download of the program for check verification. One of the files attached to this page contains the background and instructions for performing such downloads to terminals produced by VeriFone, Inc.

Recently, the eN Check 3000 manufactured by Ingenico has provided a very attractive option at the point of sale. This new combination of a check reader and terminal avoids the necessity of using the VeriFone terminal at all. Occupying the same footprint as a check reader, it performs all functions required for a check verification without the risk of affecting credit card programming. This page also includes a manual for download, setup, and configuration of the eN Check 3000.

In addition other terminals and cash registers such as Hypercom, NCR, IBM, and IC Verify can conduct transactions into the NCN National Database. Contact us for more details on these capabilities.
